This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about visitors to tigercresteducation.com and any related pages (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. For additional terms governing your use of the Site, please also review our Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference into this Privacy Policy.

1) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: you provide it to us, it’s collected automatically, or we receive it from service providers.

Information you provide

  • When you submit the Free Consultation form or Contact Us form, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and any other details you provide.

  • If you communicate with us directly (e.g., via email or phone), we may collect the information you choose to share.

  • If you pay an invoice (outside the Site), we may collect limited billing/contact details needed to process payment (but not credit card numbers directly).

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.

  • Cookie and similar technologies data (see Section 6).

Information from service providers

  • Hosting, analytics, scheduling, payment, email, and customer support tools may provide us with limited information necessary to operate the Site and our services.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers or sensitive financial details through our Site.

2) How We Collect Information

  • Forms & direct interactions: Through the Free Consultation form, Contact Us form, or other ways you directly provide information to us.

  • Automated means: Through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies that operate when you use the Site.

  • Service providers: From third-party vendors that support our Site and services (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, scheduling).

3) Why We Collect Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve our services and Site.

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.

  • Personalize communications and provide service-related updates.

  • Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics to understand Site performance and improve content.

  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

  • Send newsletters or promotional messages (if enabled) — you can opt out at any time.

We do not sell personal information.

4) How We Store, Share, and Disclose Information

Hosting & storage (Wix):

Our Site is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix’s data storage, databases, and applications on secure servers behind a firewall.

Payments:

Tiger Crest invoices clients separately. We do not process credit card payments directly through our Site, and we do not store payment card numbers.

Service providers & disclosures:

We share information with trusted vendors who assist us in operating the Site and our business (e.g., hosting, analytics providers, scheduling, email, and security). These providers may process information on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction (e.g., reorganization).

5) How We Communicate With You

We may contact you to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide service-related updates.

  • Send administrative notices (e.g., scheduling, invoices, policy updates).

  • Send newsletters or promotional messages—you can opt out by following unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us (see Section 9).

We may contact you via email, phone, or postal mail, depending on the context.

6) Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the Site function, measure performance, and remember preferences.

Types of cookies we use

  • Essential/functional: Needed for security, network management, and to make the Site work.

  • Analytics: We use analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools) to understand how visitors use the Site. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data in an aggregated manner.

  • Preference: May remember choices (e.g., language).

What we do not do

We do not currently run interest-based ads or use advertising cookies on the Site.

Your choices

  • Banner controls (if enabled): You can manage non-essential cookies via our cookie banner.

  • Browser controls: You can set your browser to block or delete cookies; essential cookies may be required for the Site to function.

  • Opt-out: You can use tools such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or adjust your ad/cookie settings in your browser.

  • Do Not Track: Because there is no consistent industry standard, the Site may not respond to DNT signals.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Analytics data may be retained in aggregated form. If you request deletion (see Section 8), we will process it consistent with applicable law.

8) Your Rights & How To Withdraw Consent

You may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent (where consent is the lawful basis for processing) at any time by contacting us (see Section 9). We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and consistent with applicable law.

8A) California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). These include the right to:

  • Know the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use it.

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.

  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent for processing.

Legal Bases for Processing:

  • Consent: For analytics cookies, newsletters, and similar features.

  • Legitimate Interest: To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services.

  • Legal Obligation: Where required to comply with law.

If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal data, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
